    "I thought I got a good deal on the camera when I purchased it online at the Kodak site. Since I gave it to my son and I needed a camera, I compared the features of the camera and the price immediately thereafter at various stores. I couldn't come close - not even on Kodak products that the stores had in stock. The "wow" factor on the camera is huge. The video feature is underrated."

    ""I am very happy with the recent purchase of the V1273 camera. I was looking for a digital camera that was easy to use and had the smart capture technology that Kodak offers. The touch screen feature on this camera helps tremendously.!! I had checked into other cameras that had loads of features but finding out how to operate them was a bit overwhelming. The touch screen on this camera guides you through the operation with ease. I am also very happy with the picture quality.
To me this camera had all the bells and whistles I was looking for packed into a stylish and easy to operate camera. TOUCH SCREEN makes all the difference!!!" "

    ""I love the portability of this camera & the fabulous pictures! The photos are comparable (sometimes better) than my DSLR camera. Very easy to use and very durable. The battery life is a little short - I purchased a 2nd battery to carry around. It can be difficult to take photos in direct sunlight as the screen is hard to see, I think that is the way it goes with such a large screen.

I would definitely recommend this camera!"

    "This is a great little camera. The Pictures that it takes are amazing. The videos are better than anything i could have expected from a little point and shoot. The touchscreen is really fun but i will admit that it spins out of control a few more times then i like. But once you get used to it its a nice feature when you have taken a lot of pictures. The one thing that i dont like about this camera is that while the videos are amazing... They are in a .MOV quicktime format. Which is not suprising being that its kodak. but I am NOT a fan of quicktime. Quicktime hasnt played one video without it becoming choppy. I convert to .AVI instantly and get all the quality with half the size and can play it seemlessly using WMplayer though, so that really isnt that much of an issue."

    "The Kodak brand didnt appeal to me in the camera segment. I always wanted a sony since all my friends buy the same. But the 12mp, Touch screen with 3 inch display, Panaromic photography, High def video recordiing and the 5 controls made me stand up and watch. I left the plan of sony and nikkon or even canon cos for similar features they were charging me upto 400$. I just picked my card and swiped. and yes i have only one regret as to why i didnt buy the Babe a few months earlier. Super clarity in imaging and being an amateur in photography, man the camera has stunning featutres. Even allows you to vary the pixcels of the pictures taken anywhere from 12mp to 1.2 mp so that in case of need you can take more pics with less space on card, if memory problem arisis on a long trip. The video recording is super. People say the touch screen is not that good but i found it reasonably good and the interface is awesome. Smart capture really works smart on this one. Not that this cam is all good. There are 2 problems, one in bright sunlight you cant see the screen that well but by now i have got used to taking pics by looking at the subject and not at the screen the real problem to me is the fact that the cam with 12mp should have worked on a 5X or a 8X optical zoom rather than a 3x zoom. "
